September 8th was the 2nd Annual Virginia Polo Benefit Cup held at King Family Vineyards. The event was a wonderful opportunity for supporters and fans to meet and mingle with student players and relax while watching polo under sweeping Blue Ridge views.

The event was a success thanks to sponsor support from Core Real Estate Partners and Andrew Baldwin. Teams were brought by Core Real Estate Partners (wearing UVA jerseys) and Beverly Equestrian from Middleburg, Va.

We were proud to see our Virginia Polo Club members working hard at the event, from speaking with guests, to delivering the food, setting up and taking down the tents, tables, and chairs, to handing out trophies. Students sold Virginia Polo merchandise and sourced a great raffle item and sold tickets to guests.

A big thank you goes to Andrew Baldwin for spearheading and supporting this event and to Maryam, Mackenzie, Evelina, and Nora W. who all helped plan and orchestrate this event, making it an wonderful chance to treat our supporters to a lovely day of polo and hospitality. Gratitude also goes out to Kim Kirschnick and Assistant Coach Abbie Grant for announcing the games!
