Siska Matiuk
Siska is a Project Manager with the Ivy Group, a marketing agency and library consultancy group in Charlottesville. She manages web and brand development projects for the company, as well as design and information architecture. Siska graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce in 2009. She first learned to play polo in Virginia Polo boot camp while at UVA, and now serves on the board as the Fundraising and Communications Co-chair.
Jay DuSauzay
Jay works as a Project Consultant with SK Commercial Realty. He oversees the construction process for clients looking to build new or renovate existing commercial real estate assets to facilitate their various business needs. Jay handles everything from architect and engineer selection, preliminary budgeting, facilitating construction drawing production, bidding, permitting, contractor selection, value engineering, construction management and administration, all the way to final punchout and closeout documentation. He advises on the most up-to-date code-compliant and cost-effective construction means and methods throughout design, and works closely with the design team, contractors and other vendors to ensure successful projects delivered within budget, on schedule, time and time again. Jay graduated from UVA in 2008, double majoring in Psychology and Commerce with concentrations in marketing and international business. He grew up riding horses on the beach in the Caribbean, but had no formal riding training until he took his first lesson with Virginia Polo. He very quickly realized he had a lot to learn! Jay persevered, going on to play for the team and become a Vere Nicoll scholar by his fourth year at UVA.
James Dunlap
James is Africa Advisor to ExxonMobil, handling the management, acquisition, and divestment of energy assets in ExxonMobil’s Africa portfolio. He plays a leading role in the identification and capture of new energy opportunities, and serves on multiple teams managing and supporting external efforts to enhance their businesses in the sub-Saharan region. James graduated from the UVA College of Arts and Sciences in 1991 with a degree in Art History. His favorite memory of his time playing with Virginia Polo is trouncing Cornell by ten goals in the 1988 Men’s National Championships.
Geoffrey Woodward
Geoff is an Executive Managing Director of C-III Capital Partners and Island Capital Group. He also serves as: the Executive Chairman of Real Capital Markets; the Chairman of U.S. Residential Group; the Chairman of NAI Global; and the Chairman of The Planning & Zoning Resource Company. Geoffrey graduated from UVA with a degree in Economics and a minor in Foreign Affairs in 1994, and went on to receive his MBA from Vanderbilt University in 2000.
